The Summersell Center and the W. S. Hoole Special Collections Library of the University of Alabama are pleased to announce the five recipients of short-term travel fellowships for 2024-2025. To support the study of southern history and promote the use of the manuscript collections housed at The University of Alabama, the Frances S. The Summersell Center for Southern History’s Public History Initiative is sponsoring a series of local internships with organizations in the community during the Spring 2017 semester. Dr. Harold Selesky has donated his collection of comic books to The University of Alabama Libraries Special Collections.
