Current Projects

  • This coming Spring (2021) I will be completing a Fulbright Research Grant for my dissertation “Gender, Authority, and Liminal Space: Roman Bizzoche, 1400-1500.” It examines the new groups of pious laywomen in fifteenth-century Rome, how they were connected with each other, and how they interacted with the broader Roman society and the institutional Church.
